Chateau Beaumont, one of the largest estates in the Medoc, dates its formation all the way back to 1772, when the property was originally created, the soil is typical Medoc Sand and Gravel.

2016 is predicted to be one the great vintages by the estate, with exceptional weather conditions throughout the entire year. The harvest period lasted 17 full days, the longest harvest in the history of this wine which ensures that all the fruits harvested were of the highest quality.

The nose is very open and complex with smooth oak aromas and notes of ripe fruits. On the palate the tannins are silky and fresh, giving a full bodied wine with a round feel.

To produce the wine of Chateau Beaumont, vinification takes place in large, temperature controlled, stainless steel vats. Malolactic fermentation takes place in tank. The wine is aged in 30% new, French oak barrels for between 12-14 months before bottling.
