Will Davenport started growing grapes in 1991, and today, the estate has organic vineyards in both Kent and East Sussex. They are passionate about farming sustainably and with integrity.
This wine is made in a Pet Nat style, meaning that instead of two fermentations (in the traditional method circumstance), there is only one. This translates to a very different style of bubble and texture in the wine. It is low alcohol, with lots of citrus fruit and herbal undertones. The wine carries a lot of sediment as it is unfined and unfiltered, but this just adds another layer of flavour and complexity to the wine.
