We'll start with some slatey riesling from Austria, follow it up with a juicy Cretian number made from the obscurest of obscure varieties and round off the whites with a fascinating Sauvignon blend from up in the Gods above Mendoza. Reds-wise we've got an impossibly elegant pinot from Mornington Peninsula, a spicy South African pinotage and a nebbiolo from world-famous Barolo producer Paolo Scavino, tar and roses.
