Cherubino wines began in Edwina and Larry Cherubino’s spare room in 2005 with the release of one wine. A lot has happened since. The range has grown, and along the way, they’ve been honoured to be listed as Winery Of The Year by respected wine critics such as James Halliday and Matt Skinner.
Laissez Faire means “let it be” and this is reflected in the hands-off approach of winemaking. The grapes were hand-harvested, sorted and naturally fermented with indigenous yeasts. Whereas a lot of wine presented as “Natural” can be sourced from chemically cultivated vines without accountability, these guys grow their own grapes making sure everything is as organic as can be. This wine will supply your nose with plenty of red apples and white peach with mineral notes in the background.
