It isn't often that you see Pinot Meunier dominating a blend in Champagne. It's usually the smaller component, adding fruit and weight to Champagnes needing a little more body. However, in the Northern reached of Champagne, the Meunier here reaches a balanced ripeness that adds just the right amount of finesse to blends, even in bigger quantities. This is 65% Meunier, and it is gorgeously rich and luscious on the palate. The farm is family owned, and biodynamic principles are practised in their vineyards.
