We have such immense respect for Samantha O’keefe, the owner of The Lismore Estate. A Californian TV Executive turned self-taught winemaker who moved to South Africa and started making top quality wines in an area no one had much belief in. She’s lauded as the pioneer who got Greyton on the map as a Wine of Origin.
In late 2019 her winery and vineyards were destroyed by bushfires, leading to her losing her entire 2019 vintage and having to rebuild from scratch. It’s a daunting task, so help us help her by treating yourself to this other worldly bottle of Viognier with it’s beautiful perfume of honeysuckle and orange blossom and an incredibly textured palate of apricot, kiwi and pineapple.
