An immaculately wrought expression of cool-climate syrah. Altitude and huge diurnal swings in temperature give freshness and elegance to the fruit, setting it apart from its Australian counterparts. This is Syrah more akin to that of the Northern Rhone. Expect cassis, blackberry, black cherry and crushed wild violets underpinned by salty smoky cured meat and olives.
