Sagrantino is a deeply colored grape variety that produces one of central Italy's most tannic red wines. Tempered by 36 months in cask and at least 12 months in bottle. The result is remarkably elegant, intense, and pure. Beginning with hints of plum, blackberry and black cherry followed by aromas of violet, blueberry, vanilla, pink pepper, black currant, cocoa, cinnamon, mace and menthol.
