Vincent Paris has been making Cornas for a couple of decades but this still makes him one of the newbies. The name Cornas Granit 30 describes the appellation (one of the Rhône Valley’s finest), the soil type and the angle of the slope. Pure Syrah is polished and peppery with hugely intense dark berry fruit. Whilst it's quite a restrained style of Cornas, that peppery spice makes it the perfect seasoning for any big red meat dish or slow-cooked stew.
