Vita Vinea is a winery found in Eastern Georgia that has been operating for nearly 10 decades. They use indigenous Georgian grapes and ones grown on the estate only, which are also bottled on the estate after allowing the wines significant time to age.
This wine is made using a Qvevri for fermentation and 100% Saperavi grapes and has a bold, punchy aroma of coffee and ripened dark fruits. The tannins are fine and there is a lingering finish.
