Brut Océan stands as a meticulously hand-harvested Jurançon Sec cuvée, crafted exclusively from the Gros Manseng grape variety. This grape, a prominent local cultivar, originates from the Jurançon appellation situated near the town of Pau in the furthest reaches of southwestern France. Notably, it presents a wonderfully dry profile, making it a remarkable substitute for Picpoul. This wine offers a refreshing essence of white stone fruit, accompanied by a delicate touch of waxy and nutty notes, all underscored by a hint of saline minerality. Thanks to six months of maturation on the lees, the wine acquires a delightful creaminess that harmonizes beautifully with its aromatic fruit characteristics.
Pairs beautifuly with grilled sardines, salted almonds, or goat's cheese and spinach pasta.
