The wine offers a medley of flavors, including vanilla, raisin, and figs, accompanied by hints of blueberry, hedgerow, and black spices like star anise and black pepper. On the palate, juicy dark cherry and cassis flavors dominate, complemented by refreshing acidity. Aged for 18 months in 100% new French barrels, the wine develops cedar, tobacco leaf, and vanilla wood notes, providing robust support to the ripe fruit flavors.
